METHOD
OF APPLICATION:
DARM® is a cold asphalt repair mix.
DARM® has been used on asphalt, concrete, chip & seal, macadam and
dirt/gravel surfaces.
1. Use in temperatures
between 25 and 120 degrees F.
2. Clear loose debris from the pothole; may leave
standing water.
3. Shift contents in bag 5-7 times before opening to
increase workability. Pour contents of bag(s) into pothole and even out mix
1 inch above existing surface. For deep holes, place in 2-inch lifts and
compact after each layer.
4. Compact the mix with a roller, tamper
or drive over with vehicle tires. Area is ready for immediate traffic use.
5. Adjust fill as needed for binding (curing) and
settling.
STORAGE
Opened bags may be stored for up to 96
months from the manufacture date. Simply remove the air and close tightly.
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Regularly rotate bag to
prevent clumping. A light crust or skin may form. This will help prevent
the inner material from hardening.
